Wow, I havent updated RT in a long time. My apologies! Writing tutorials takes a long time for me and recently, I just haven't had inspiration or motivation to write. I think it might be time to get a new layout up for RT! I just wanted to update letting you guys know that I did not forget about this site. This site isn't updated regularly since I am managing my graphics site as well. Though, I will keep RT open for as long as I am not working on changing layouts or revamping since I want all my visitors to have access to the tutorials.

I have been getting a lot of feedback through email and comments about my tutorials. I am so glad a lot of people benefit from what I write. The most common request that I have been getting are tutorial series for Wordpress Installations and Wordpress Theme developments. As much as I would love to write these, I am no expert on Wordpress - and I learned all I knew off of online tutorials (just Google them!). However, due to popular demand, I will write what I do know about the script and how to code a custo layout for it. Though, keep in mind this series will have its limitations since I have created my own way of coding Wordpress and there may be another, easier way.

Until then, please enjoy the tutorial selection as it is. More tutorials coming this Summer vacation!

New Additions! Sarah | August 23 2008 | Category: Update

Hey, I'm back for a quick update. I am so thankful for everyone who commented on the previous post! I never expected RT to receive such a great response. Currently, I am working on a Wordpress tutorial series, since I have learned a lot using the script myself.

For now, I have added two new tutorials:
» PHP/MySQL: Increase Row Count by 1
» Photoshop: Dotted Borders

I have been receivng a lot of requests for a PHP Form Mail script, but I do just want to clear a few things up. Right now, I do not have the knowledge to create a working PHP Form script since I am only beginning to discover the power of PHP. Also, there is the problem of making the form secure with security checks and all that, which will take long to create. For now, I have to decline on that request, but I can refer you to a good script: NL-PHPMail @ CodeGrrl.com. I hope that helps out a little bit. Anywho, I have a lot of requests, so I should get working on them right now!

Grand Re-Opening! Sarah | August 15 2008 | Category: Update

Hey there! I hope you are as happy to see this site back up as much as I am! For the past few weeks, I have been working on revamping Reminiscent Tutorials, and now I am finally done! Everything is more or less powered by Wordpress since it makes managing my tutorials and updates so much easier. At first it was hard to code my Wordpress theme and make it suitable for tutorials, but I set my mind to completing it and now I have learned a great deal about Wordpress in a mere 2 weeks! Watch out for a possible Wordpress theme tutorial series in the future!

Currently, you are viewing Version 2 of RT called Starry-Night Scrapbook. I wanted to go for a more colourful layout while keeping it very simplistic. This time around, I have edited all my site pages and I am opening affiliation! If you also have a tutorial site, I would definitely consider affiliation.

I have not gotten around to writing more advanced and thorough tutorials because I spent forever on coding the new layout. Also, I have added a new page to the Resource section: PHP Date Format. I have a few more ideas for new resource pages, so except more from that section as well. If you see any errors around the site - I apologize since I am still doing some editing here and there.

Currently, I am taking tutorial requests, so do leave a comment or contact me with your suggestions! For now, I do hope you enjoy browsing the site and hopefully you will learn a new thing or two while you are here!
