Grand Re-Opening! Sarah | August 15 2008 | Category: Update

Hey there! I hope you are as happy to see this site back up as much as I am! For the past few weeks, I have been working on revamping Reminiscent Tutorials, and now I am finally done! Everything is more or less powered by Wordpress since it makes managing my tutorials and updates so much easier. At first it was hard to code my Wordpress theme and make it suitable for tutorials, but I set my mind to completing it and now I have learned a great deal about Wordpress in a mere 2 weeks! Watch out for a possible Wordpress theme tutorial series in the future!

Currently, you are viewing Version 2 of RT called Starry-Night Scrapbook. I wanted to go for a more colourful layout while keeping it very simplistic. This time around, I have edited all my site pages and I am opening affiliation! If you also have a tutorial site, I would definitely consider affiliation.

I have not gotten around to writing more advanced and thorough tutorials because I spent forever on coding the new layout. Also, I have added a new page to the Resource section: PHP Date Format. I have a few more ideas for new resource pages, so except more from that section as well. If you see any errors around the site - I apologize since I am still doing some editing here and there.

Currently, I am taking tutorial requests, so do leave a comment or contact me with your suggestions! For now, I do hope you enjoy browsing the site and hopefully you will learn a new thing or two while you are here!

2	patricia Says: wow! this site is amazing, and the layout is soo pretty and colourful! i'm thinking of making an MYSQL database to sort my pngs. i looked at the MYSQL page, but i don't know if you have anything that explains it cause i don't know where to start.

Wow, how come I've never seen this gold mine before? I'm glad you have so many decent tutorials! I was very happy to see that you have a layout database tutorial, as I suck at PHP (beginner), and I was wondering, if you have a similar tutorial for an avatar database? The one I have installed (but not using) doesn't allow me to intergrate it into my webpage, so it looks completely different from the site. I'd be very happy if you have/know of such a tutorial/script anywhere!

Great layout, by the way, nice and colourful - a change from those 1-shaded sites!

@ Adam - go through the layout database tutorial and you will be able to replace the layouts with the avatars (you just won't need the preview feature that layouts need, unless you want them to preview first?) Email me for further instructions if you are curious.
